Col. Paul W. Bricker (Ret.)
Colonel (Retired) Paul Bricker is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Effective Communication Strategies, a government relations firm focused on assisting clients
communicate with the US Government. Previous clients include a number of Fortune 50 companies, Veteran’s organizations, and industry clients involved in national and homeland security, logistics, and commercial aviation. His previous position was as the Defense Practice Lead for The Livingston Group. Paul retired from the Army after over 28 years of distinguished service culminating in his assignment as the Chief of the US Army’s Senate Liaison Division with their Office of Congressional and Legislative Affairs. Prior to his service on Capitol Hill, he served as the 2010-2011 Army Senior Fellow at Harvard University’s Weatherhead Center for International Affairs in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
In addition to his service on Capitol Hill, Paul served in the Pentagon on the Army Staff as the Strategic Planning Division Chief, Office of the Chief of Army Public Affairs; on the Joint Staff in the Special Operations Directorate; and as the Aide de Camp to the Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. His experience operating at the highest levels of our military provide him valuable insight into developing creative and nuanced strategies upon which both the Pentagon and Capitol Hill can agree.
Paul also volunteers on the Executive Board of two 501 (C) 3 Non-Profits: as the President of the All American Strategic Response Force, and as an Executive Vice President for the Patriot Foundation. Both these organizations are dedicated to helping with the college education of children whose father and/or mother was killed in the war on terror. He also serves as a strategic advisor to the Iraqi Children Foundation, focused on assisting the families and communities of Iraq by mobilizing a life-changing “Surge of Love” for millions of children orphaned by violence in Iraq.
